What it takes to be a good father? I know there is no one perfect in this world! Father’s Day… a special day, a day to thank a “special man” for all he has done-for listening and understanding, for loving and forgiving, and for always having time to laugh and share. How wonderful having the kind of father who’s thoughtful, gentle and kind…A father who’s ready to help you and listen to what ever you have in mind… Father’s Day… a perfect opportunity to show all the feelings that are always there but are rarely expressed. How wonderful having the kind of father who cares about all that you do… How wonderful having a father like that… a father who’s just like “you.” Father’s Day… the time to say “I love you.” Father, the wish is for Father’s Day… the love it brings is for always. To my father, and to my daughter’s father. To the father who’s very close to my heart and to all the father’s…Happy Father’s Day!!! “Nothing can replace the wisdom, guidance, and love of a father.”

Emotions

My day was full of emotions. It was started with excitement for the topics that we had discussed on our second day of seminar. During our seminar I felt a little bet confused because of too many information and I can’t absorbs all the topics that we discussed that morning. At lunch break. The group was so excited to know what will be our lunch for the day, because on our first day of seminar our lunch was a Japanese food and the group enjoyed it. In our 2nd day it’s Italian food! I made a joke to my colleagues that I hope the seminar will not end because I love the food and they’re agreed with me. It was a good lunch again with the group. I like the dessert it made me so happy and I gain more energy for our afternoon session. During our seminar the group felt that our new lecturer was so uneasy, worried and so nervous. And he told us that he’s sorry because his 10 yrs. old son was in a hospital and subject for an operation thats why he’s so worried and he’s waiting for his wife to call him at that time so all of us was worried too, in 5 minutes his wife called up and he feels relieved for his son was okay. Thank God! Our 2nd day seminar was ended. When I got home I called up my daughter to know how was her 3rd day in school. She cried and said “mama I miss you, I want too see you, can you please send me to school tomorrow?” I’m so guilty my daughter needs me and I don’t know what to do. I just told her that I’m busy and she understands me. what a day? Be sober and temperate, and you will be healthy.

I attended a 3 days seminar for non-life insurance. My purpose is to widen my knowledge about this industry and to get a license too. This company is a partnership of one of the top local bank and a Japanese insurance company here in the Philippines. In my first day of the seminar I met a Japanese woman who wants to get a license and to be a non-life professional license agent. I find her so interesting. She stayed here for almost 5 yrs. she can speak tagalog very well, she live alone in a condominiun in Makati city. She’s currently studying taking up masters degree in University of the Philippines. What an amazing smart young woman. She’s so independent living alone in a foreign country is hard and lonely. She told me she likes Philippines because of the people and the weather. She finds Philippines as her own country. At the age of 27 she intend to stay here for good and to have a family in the future. Wow! I like her, because she’s so sincere, nice and friendly. I have a feeling that we can be a good friend soon. I hope she make it to get a license and be one of the professional non-life insurance agent. Good luck to both of us.
