My Heart And Me

Yesterday night after work I went to my cousins house together with my friend for the birthday party of our grand mother. It was a surprised night for me. I’m not expecting that I could see the special person, a person who always makes me cry every time we each other. Tears of joy. It’s been 5 years we didn’t see each other because she lives abroad with her husband. She’s my Aunt. my sweet, kind and loving Aunt. She’s like a mother and a best friend to me. A person that I can always count on even she’s million miles away from me. When I went abroad she’s the first person I want to see and to talked with to let her know where I am. She’s always the first person who knows my ups and down in my life. I remember the times when were together living in one roof her family showed me the love that I never felt in my own family. She treated and takes care of me like her own daughter during my younger years. I Idolized her for being so kind and a good person. I’m so happy for her. She looks happy and contented in her life together with her husband. She’s so blessed to have a very kind, loving and faithful husband. She deserves it. I know she’s always there for me no matter what. It’s good to see the special person who’s been a mother and a friend to me . I thank God for having an Aunt like her in my life. I wish you a long and a healthy life. I want you to know that I miss the time when were together. I love you and thank you.

Someone once said to me. “Men are like buses-you miss one, there’s always another.” So now I have to wait for the bus to come. And wait in anticipating of my mate’s arrival. Where is he why he is taking so long? Is on his way? I don’t know but there’s more than one way to wait… I was waiting for God to give me the desire of my heart. God has a man for me. I felt that I had been created to be part of someone else’s life. For now I have to try to be happy as a single and to remove my frustration over my other half’s late arrival. I received a message from God, that He enabled me to see that I have a lot to learn before He could send me into the arms of the man He designed me for. Yes, from time to time I still have my negative moments. But deep in my heart I know and He knows what’s best for me. No matter how unpleasant it might seem from time to time, wait and I will… ” I have watched and waited for my knight to come riding over the hill of my desires… watching… waiting… to see him dressed in white upon a horse big and strong as his shoulders where I will lay my head as he carries me away to the promised land of dreams come true and joy eternal…” No matter how long the wait I will wait…

It’s A Parents Day in the school of my children. I saw all my old friends and their respective families. And it’s not only Parents Day, it’s like a Family Day. Its a two days yearly event in this exclusive school. Yearly it caused a severe traffic in Makati area especially Edsa and Pasay road intersection because of the occasions. All parents came to their respective children’s classrooms. I saw some politicians, popular showbiz and socialites personalities. They came and take time out from their work and they gave importance to participate and gave their precious time to their precious children. Every classrooms had their programs for the parents and the parade of foods in the corridor. In our classroom there was a scene that I was so touched and with teary eyed. When all of the students sung a song for their parents before the song was finished my daughter came to me and say “I love you so much mama.” All the parents and students was looking on us because only me attended for her, his father didn’t come for personal reason it’s his choice not to come. The joy of being a parent to my children is the best thing happened to me, The “Thank you and I love you mama” is enough for me it touches my soul and spirit especially if it comes from my angels. I am so blessed for having them in my life.
