Criticism

Some people get a feeling of well-being and superior from criticizing their friends. If you are afflicted with that plague, divest yourself of the infection as soon as possible. If it is very painful for you to criticize your friends, you are safe in doing it. But if you take the slightest pleasure in it, that is the time to hold your tongue. Sometimes being a human I did criticizing and they did as well. Well, all is said and done, a large part of our success at love will depend on our ability to accept human nature as it is. The judgmental temperament never generates much affection. “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” We all makes mistakes, but every one makes different mistakes. And one has to grow older to become more tolerant. God himself, said not to judge a man until his life is over. Why should we? I’m not telling you not to express an opinion. No, we all have our own opinion and lets be opinionated! Express our individuality as loudly as we need to. But be sure to give our friends and people around us the same privilege. Assertiveness is okay as long as it is not a crucial criticism. Good criticism encourages people and it helps me to grow.

Allergy

I went to a dermatologist yesterday for my skin allergy. I never had an skin allergy since birth. I’m so uncomfortable for having it now, I’m wondering why my skin is so sensitive. According to the doctor it is due to stress. Stress and emotional instability can cause this disease. Oh my God! It’s a disease of mine? I’m so uncomfortable feeling itchiness. I have unconscious compulsive picking or scratching habit, and at times the tendency is so persistent and pronounced that scratches on the skin are produced. It manifest itself on the skin as very itchy red rashes which, if present for a long time, may produce thickened skin as a result of constant scratching that exactly happens to me. I have to follow the doctors prescriptions not to eat my favorite seafood and some food that might trigger my allergy. An interesting fact about this disease is there is an increased incidence among single or widowed people. Ouch! because of singleness I have this allergy? Good luck to me.

Educational Field Trip

I’m so tired today because I accompanied my daughter for their educational field trip in school. It’s a whole day trip of the kids with their parents, guardian and nannies. It’s so tiring a yearly activity in school and a bonding with their parents as well. The first place we went was a garden that full of plants and butterflies and my daughter was so afraid of butterflies. We went to the zoo and the kids enjoyed it, they saw a different kinds of animals they seldom see. I discovered something I don’t know about my daughter. She’s afraid of small animals, I let her feed the rabbit but she’s so afraid of it. She likes big animals. After we took our lunch break. We went to the historical museum. The Philippine Military Air Force base, which we can see antique guns and military tanks and old planes that our military heroes used during world war 2. The kids enjoyed taking pictures with the used and old planes. So tiring but I enjoyed being with my daughter. When I’m taking dinner the nanny of my daughter texted me, she asked my daughter if she enjoyed the field trip, she replied. “Yes I’m happy because my mama is with me.” I’m so touched! a simple togetherness with my daughter brings us more closer to each other.
