Some people get a feeling of well-being and superior from criticizing their friends. If you are afflicted with that plague, divest yourself of the infection as soon as possible. If it is very painful for you to criticize your friends, you are safe in doing it. But if you take the slightest pleasure in it, that is the time to hold your tongue. Sometimes being a human I did criticizing and they did as well. Well, all is said and done, a large part of our success at love will depend on our ability to accept human nature as it is. The judgmental temperament never generates much affection. “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” We all makes mistakes, but every one makes different mistakes. And one has to grow older to become more tolerant. God himself, said not to judge a man until his life is over. Why should we? I’m not telling you not to express an opinion. No, we all have our own opinion and lets be opinionated! Express our individuality as loudly as we need to. But be sure to give our friends and people around us the same privilege. Assertiveness is okay as long as it is not a crucial criticism. Good criticism encourages people and it helps me to grow.

“We need very strong ears to hear ourselves judged frankly, and because there are few who can endure frank criticism without being stung by it, those who venture to criticize us perform a remarkable act of friendship, for to undertake to wound or offend”
