Last night, after we took a mass in the church, my good and sweet friend treated me for my advance birthday dinner. My children chose a restaurant where we can have our dinner. We had our dinner in my daughter’s favorite restaurant which is Italianis in Mall of Asia. My friend and his girlfriend waited us for long hours just to keep his promise for my advance birthday dinner. He’s so sweet, kind and a loving person, he generously gave his time for us especially to my children. I’m lucky to have a friend like him. After dinner, we took some pictures for souvenir. My friend sent his girlfriend to her place in Makati and the kids went to a toy store and played and I went to a supermarket to buy some food for Christmas day. While I’m in the grocery store my friend called up to let me know that he’s back in the mall so he can sent us in my place. I’m so touched! He joined us in the bay for sight seeing and waited for us until midnight until the kids get tired. It was almost perfect Christmas for us, dinner with a nice friends together with my loving daughters. Thank you to my dearest friend it was a great and memorable Christmas and birthday dinner to remember. Please listen to my favorite Christmas song, I hope you will like it too.

Christmas Party…

Yesterday, I spent my whole day in my daughters school for Preschool Christmas presentation, she was chosen to participate in the program. I’m so proud of her she’s really a good dancer, their presentation was the highlights of the program. After lunch they had their Christmas party all the kids enjoyed the party each of them had their gifts and can’t wait not to open their gifts. And today, we had our Christmas party too. December is the brightest and busiest month of the year. Party everywhere! schools and offices have their Christmas party. So tiring attending many parties but its so enjoyable. But lets not forget that Christmas season is not only for parties, but it is the time to remember and to know what is Christmas all about. It is the time to share our blessings to the less fortunate people, and give love not only on Christmas day but the whole year through. “Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone. Use every chance you have for doing good.” “Whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it.” Christmas time is the best time of sharing, understanding, forgiveness and giving love especially to our loved ones and families.

Who Is Santa Claus?

I went to a supermarket this late afternoon, when I’m about to pay in the counter, one little girl asked her mother “mommy who is Santa Claus?” the mom looked at me and smiled, and I smiled back and I said your daughter is so smart. I remember the time when I was 5 or 6 years old, I asked also my mother who is Santa Claus? When my mother was preparing our food for our “Noche Buena” and I was helping her to prepare the table utensils. I asked my mother “who is Santa Claus? and she said, Santa Claus is the one who gives a gifts for the children who are good and obedient to their parents for the whole year. And I asked her again “what about the bad children? they don’t receive a gift from Santa?” and she said “yes” if they are bad they don’t receive a gift from Santa. And I wonder how will Santa knows if we are good or bad? After we took our Noche Buena it was about 1:30 am of December 25. Our parents told us “okay kids its time to sleep now and don’t forget to prepare your sacks and hang it in the door because Santa will visit our house while we are sleeping.” I told myself this is the time to know who is Santa. I didn’t slept and I waited for Santa to come. My mother checked us from time to time if were sleeping and I pretend that I’m asleep. Before the morning comes our parents went out from the room and they got something in their hands, and I saw it with my two eyes they are the one who put candies and chocolate in our sacks. I was so disappointed its a mixed emotions, I thought there was a real Santa who gives us a gift every Christmas. My parents didn’t know that I knew who’s Santa is. Since then every Christmas day my younger brothers and sisters are excited for Santa’s gifts. Now that I have a children I did it one’s to let them enjoy the Christmas spirit and to feel that Santa is real.
