All of us have witnessed instances when a friend or loved one has made bad choices – or through absolutely no choice of their own have simply been confronted with a tough set of circumstances. No human words or thoughts can explain away or provide comfort for certain kinds of suffering and pain. Maybe God doesn’t want us to be able to do so. He comforts us every time we have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us. I can live with confidence because God’s strength will protect and sustain me in all circumstances. When I’m going through tough times I must remember that my future is in God’s hands. Knowing that He has good plans for me, not plans to hurt me. God is trustworthy to make that plan happen.
