Love Seeks A Good Match

We’ve all heard it: Opposites attract. But is it true? For me hardly. In reality, opposites seldom attract, and if they do they often don’t stay attract. Close relationships are more likely to form and endure with someone who shares my ideas,values, and desires, a person who likes the same music, the same activities, the same interests, even the same foods. How do you know you have a lot in common? It takes time. And it doesn’t hurt to withhold premature judgments. Differences emerge in any close relationship. But love knows that for a fighting chance the relationship must be built on common ground. Time will tell if a relationship is built to go to distance. Love is not leaving everything up to chance, it can once again put the odds of survival in my favor. LOVE is something we do. I’ve been looking for a perfect match, “A Mr. Perfect-for me, A Mr. My-type, Mr. Dream-Man” and etc. Asking myself what should I do to know who is good and perfect match for me? I lay myself trusting in the arms of God, how can I discern which man created for me? Maybe I should take the first step of admitting exactly who I am and where I am. And be honest about what I really see. I won’t be the first person to take a hard look at myself, and I won’t be the last. I will survive, as proven by some very high profile predecessors. I’m not perfect at all, I’m only human but seeking a good match with the help from above it will be possible.
