Self-Image

My cousin went back to manila from our province. For almost three weeks that were together we had enough time to know each others well. We have many things in common. knowing her makes me more closer to her. I’m beginning to admire her for having a good qualities of today’s woman. “Your ability to express love to others is linked to your ability to love yourself”. She’s one of the few person that I want to keep the friendships we have now. The value of a person is not measured on an applause meter, It is measured in the heart and mind of God. I was a person who struggle with my self-image. My experiences in life makes me more stronger and open minded in any aspect of life. As my cousin told me. God look at me at the basis of my potential nor my past or or even my present circumstances. Most importantly, God offered us a living water that satisfy the emptiness and longing of our soul, a drink of water that would provide renewal for our parched soul and life. We both agree that we have to honor the kindness of God for giving us the outer and inner beauty we have in our life. Even if I feel as needy as a lonely individual, I assured that God provides me with all the reasons I need to love and embrace myself. Keeping myself image is not easy like life challenges. A challenges is not to try harder, but to trust more in God!
