I talked to my daughter on the phone tonight. She told me that she won the first place in her school essay writing contest. As a mother I’m so proud of her, for her school achievements. At her young age she excel in her school. She makes me so proud. In every step she will take, I’m always here to support her in everything she wants to be. I remember when I was in grade school. I was one of the contestant and a representative of our school in spelling contest. I wanted to won the first place in that contest but I didn’t make it. I just got the second place, at first I was disappointed I cried to my teacher because I failed, what hurts me the most was there was no support from my family. My Parents was so busy in so many concerns at that time and they don’t care about my achievements in school. So sad but I understand them. But they said they’re still proud of me. Since then I told to myself. In all work I will do, work the best as I can and it will lead to accomplishments. Believe in myself and never give up until I succeed. Those are the words of wisdom that I want to share to my daughter. My pride and my happiness in life.
