In Laws…

Yesterday night we had a get together dinner with my former office mates. After three years the group was complete. The reason for our get together was one of my colleague is getting married this coming November to her long time boyfriend. We talked about her future in laws. In preparation for her wedding, she told us that she don’t want to be disturb by her future mother in law especially when it comes to the color motive, venue and some other concerns in preparation for her wedding day. She added after their wedding she wants to get a house of their own and not to live with her in laws. I agree with her but it is depends on the situation. The parents of her future husband is a bit old and has only two children a daughter and a son, their daughter is based in u.s and the son which is her boyfriend is the one who takes care of them. We told her to understand the situation. They can get a house near in her in laws house or live together for a while. Her god mother to be advised her to love her in laws if she loves her boyfriend, treat them as her own parents and her future husband will love her more. She got a point but it depends on the in laws especially the mother in law. The typical mother in law and daughter in law hate each other. Lol! Lucky if the mother in law is kind and understanding not a monster one. We just hope for the best in her married life. We are looking forward to see each other again and to give her a bridal shower before her journey of having an in laws. Good luck and best wishes!
